What is Consumer United?

Founded in 2007, Consumer United uses group buying power to negotiate better deals on basic services. We're a value-driven consumer group designed to help people save money on multiple products and services, such as auto, home, life insurance, cellphone plans and, coming soon, auto loans. We leverage the size of our group to make sure all members get the service they deserve. If there's an issue, we'll work with them and the insurance company to resolve it.

What is Consumer United’s goal?

Our goal is to help you get rid of hidden fees, improve customer service and save our members $3,000+ annually. Knowledgeable reps work with you to find the best solution to your personal solution.

How is Consumer United different?

Unlike most salespeople, they're not paid by the size of the policy they sell you so your goals and theirs are aligned. We make it easy to shop for the best solution. How does Consumer United make money?

We’re flipping the script by taking the social networking business model and actually using it as a tool to help people where it matters most … their pocketbook. Our advocates work with industry leaders and can search for the best rate. When a member decides to enroll for a service through us we receive a payment from the provider. Our commercial relationships with each service provider are in place to help make the switching process as convenient as possible for our members, and in some cases we can offer exclusive deals that are not available directly from the provider.

Do you share or sell member information to other companies?

We promise that we will not sell your data to any third party.

How do I access the deals?

Current deals are accessible via our Web site, ConsumerUnited.com. Also, we will notify you via e-mail and our bi-weekly newsletter when deals are live in your area.

Will I be charged for this?

Consumer United membership is currently free.

Do I have to sign up for a service?

You're not obligated to sign up for a service as a Consumer United member.

Can I opt out of the bi-weekly newsletter?

Absolutely. There's a SafeUnsubscribe option at the bottom of each newsletter and product update.

Do I have to sign up for all services to get the discounts?

You can choose to enroll in just one deal or all of them. However, you do have to be a member to take advantage of the discounts. Sign up here.
